Horde Road is a squad runner for iPhone. Shoot gates to grow your army, dodge boss attacks and run a volcanic canyon. No ads.
Long description
Horde Road is a squad runner and gate shooter set in a volcanic canyon. You steer a squad down the road and shoot gates to grow it. Skull gates count down when shot. Twin gates hide which side grows faster. Multiplier gates grow when shot.
Big armies take real space, and crowded armies get crushed by walls and traps. Every level ends in a boss fight with telegraphed attacks you dodge. Meet the Lava Golem, the Shaman, the Ogre and the Troll, and survive a doomsday countdown.
A free daily challenge gives everyone the same route each day, with a shareable score and friend ranks through friend codes. The download is free. World 1 (20 levels) and the daily challenge are free, and one $4.99 unlock opens the full game. World 2 is there at launch, World 3 arrives in December, and a new world follows each month.
